I’ve seen this a lot with friends and even myself in the past.
A lot of guys think it’s their bio or something “wrong” with their profile, but in reality it’s usually just the photos.
A few common mistakes I notice:
- First photo is a mirror selfie or group photo (confusing or low effort)
- No clear face shot where you actually look approachable
- All photos feel similar (no variety or personality)
- Bad lighting / low quality images
What seems to work better in my experience:
- A clear, simple headshot as the first photo
- At least one natural “lifestyle” photo (out doing something)
- One photo that shows personality or social proof (friends, activity, hobby)
It doesn’t even require professional photos most of the time — just better selection and order makes a big difference.
Curious if others noticed the same or if I’m off here.
